Iran announced on Monday that it would take decisive action in response to any Israeli aggression on its territory, emphasizing its desire to avoid a broader conflict in the region.
On Tuesday, Iran executed a missile strike involving approximately 200 missiles, marking its second direct assault on Israel. This action was described as retaliation for the deaths of militant leaders aligned with Tehran and a general from Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

Abbas Araghchi, Iran’s foreign minister, stated that the Islamic Republic is “not afraid of war and will deliver a strong and appropriate response to any further actions by the Zionist regime.” These comments were made during a phone call with his Egyptian counterpart, Badr Abdelatty.
Lieutenant General Herzi Halevi, the chief of the Israeli army, confirmed that Iran had launched around 200 missiles at Israel the previous week.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu remarked that Iran had committed a “significant error” with its missile attack, which came in the wake of Israel’s elimination of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah on September 27.
Following discussions between the United States and Israel regarding a coordinated response, Iran’s chief of staff cautioned that Tehran would target Israeli infrastructure if its territory were to be attacked.
